Greater Philadelphia Film Office, BlackStar Film Festival and the Department of Film and Media Arts at Temple University present Framing Blackness.
An exploration at the intersection of cinematography, #blackjoy, art, and social justice, that will also examine what makes a 'black' film. This introspective conversation will feature a panel of groundbreaking filmmakers: Rashid Zakat, Tayarisha Poe, El Sawyer, Sosena Solomon, and Lendl Tellington, and will be moderated by Maori Karmael Holmes.
