Learn the ins, outs, and differences between screenwriting for film and television
Thanks to channels like HBO and Netflix, the line between film and television is being blurred, not only in terms of quality, but in production values as well. However, before production begins, there are nuances that seem subtle, but make all the difference in the screenwriting process.
Join us on Monday, October 17th for “Filmmakers @ the Prince: Screenwriting- Film vs. TV" as we examine the discipline of screenwriting for film versus television.
The 'script to screen' screenwriting process has differences in Mechanics (long form vs short form storytelling), Environment (solo vs. team, length of time from shooting to showing), Character Development and more when writing for film as opposed to television.
Our moderator and guests will share priceless knowledge and provide insights into their experiences with writing for both mediums and with interpreting scripts from an actor's POV for both mediums.
